David Allen Clark, 65, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, husband of Catherine "Cathy" Herbert Clark entered into eternal rest Wednesday, December 1, 2021. His service will be held at Eastbridge Presbyterian Church on Monday, December 6, 2021 at 3:00 pm. Family will receive friends an hour before the service. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Mount Pleasant Chapel.
David was born April 13, 1956, in Charleston, South Carolina, son of Chevis Delwyn Clark and Ruth Louise Goodwin Clark. He was the Director of Exhibits for Patriots Point Naval & Maritime Museum for 41 years (retired), a professional artist, drummer, historian, and amateur archaeologist. His interests spanned everything from drag racing, and weightlifting, to Civil War reenactment. He was also a Deacon for Eastbridge Presbyterian Church.
He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Cathy; daughter, Caitlin Clark Graham (Keith) of Summerville; son, David Cameron Clark of Mount Pleasant ; brother, Chevis Clark, Jr. and sister, Deanne Clark, of Mt. Pleasant and two grandchildren, Thomas David Graham and Harrison Clark Graham of Summerville. He is also survived by his parents-in-law, Robert and Doris Herbert and brother-in-law and best friend, Eric Herbert (Jo Dee) all of Goose Creek.
