David Allen Britt

Entered into eternal rest on the morning of March 17, 2011, David Allen Britt, of North Charleston, SC.  Relatives and friends are invited to a memorial service at the First Church of the Nazarene, Hanahan, SC at 3:00 PM Saturday, March 19, 2011 officiated by Pastor Gary Rupert.

Mr. Britt was born on December 31, 1956 in Charleston, SC the son of Woodrow Murphy Britt and Lois Marie Donnally Britt.  He enjoyed the following activities:  shagging, water skiing, singing, playing his bass guitar, jet skiing and camping.  Mr. Britt worked for 23 years at the Charleston Naval Shipyard as a Supervisor/Pipefitter and was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Hanahan, SC.

He is survived by his daughter, Shannon Britt of Ladson, SC; fianc�e, JoAnn Parker of North Charleston, SC; brothers, Randall & Cheryl Britt of Hollywood, MD and Charles and Wanda Britt of Summerville, SC; best friend, Myron Smoak of Hanahan, SC; and several nieces and one nephew.  He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Delward Britt.
