Daryl "Smitty or Smitdro" Anson Smith

Daryl "Smitty or Smitdro" Anson Smith, 60, of Summerville, South Carolina, husband of Kimberley Williams-Smith entered into eternal rest Monday, July 15, 2024. His Funeral Service will be held Saturday, July 20, 2024 at Cathedral Church, 3790 Ashley Phosphate Road at 2:00 pm. Interment, Carolina Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Saturday in the church from 12:30 pm until the time of service. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Northwoods Chapel.

Daryl was born February 1, 1964 in Charleston, South Carolina, son of Charlotte Honeycutt Smith and the late Carlton E. Smith. He loved spending time with his family and he was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed golfing, fishing and hunting. Daryl was a member of Cathedral Church and a drummer with the worship team. He was a Carolina Gamecock fan and Clemson Tiger dad. 

Daryl is survived by his wife, Kim; five children: Craig Smith of Queens, NY, Savannah Hagaman (Zachary) of N. Charleston, SC, Tyler Williams of Pinehurst, NC, Kyle Smith and Olivia Smith both of Summerville, SC; three grandchildren; brother, Chuck Smith (Donnie) of Summerville, SC and many beloved nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Sharlene Smith.
