Danny Lewis Holmes, 61, of Goose Creek, SC, died Friday, July 8, 2016. His funeral service will be held Wednesday, July 13, 2016, in the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road at 2:00 pm. Interment will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Danny was born March 7, 1955 in Charleston, SC, son of Marie Powers Holmes and the late Lewis Thomas Holmes. He was a musician and a HVAC technician. He attended Gospel Mission Church.

He is survived by his mother, Marie Powers Holmes; daughter, Chamala Holmes of Summerville, SC; son, Chris Holmes of Ladson, SC; sister, Belinda M. Hervey (Mark) of Goose Creek; uncle, Richard Edwards of TX; niece, Lori Morris; two nephews, Bryce Hervey and Brian Hervey; grandchildren: Tori Holmes, Kaila Holmes, and Shannon Holmes.
