Danny Lee Davis

Danny Lee Davis, of Charleston, South Carolina, born August 16, 1937 passed away on Tuesday, August 23, 2022. His graveside service will be held Saturday, September 10, 2022 in the Live Oak Memorial Gardens, 3093 Ashley River Road at 2:00 p.m. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. West Ashley Chapel.

Dan is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Marion Champy Eadie Davis, son Jeffrey Davis, and step-children, Timmy Eadie and Sharon Freitag. His legacy included many grandchildren along with several great-grands. Dan was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy E. Rosenkoetter Grawe Davis, father George W. Davis, sisters, JoAnne Nieoff, Virginia Grawe, and brother Jim Davis. 

Dan joined the United States Navy in 1955 and, after a lengthy career, retired in 1975. His love for the Navy ran deep. He could talk about  his many adventures and the amazing friendships he made along the way. Dan worked for Domino Sugar from 1975 to retirement in 1995.

Dan was a member of St. Andrews United Methodist Church.
