With deep love and heartfelt sorrow, we remember Daniel William Weeks, 62, of Moncks Corner, South Carolina, who passed away on October 23, 2026, surrounded by his family. His life was marked by the passions he pursued, the people he cherished, and the lasting memories he created with those who loved him.
Born in Charleston, South Carolina, to J. S. Weeks and Barbara (Shuler), Dan was a retired business owner who lived life with passion for the things he loved. Whether he was enjoying fast cars and big trucks or behind the radio as a ham radio operator and weather spotter, Dan pursued his interests with curiosity, enthusiasm, and his unmistakable personality.
Dan was also a devoted dog dad and a self-proclaimed local food snob. He believed good barbecue was worth searching for, and finding the best local shrimp was a pursuit worth taking seriously. He loved discovering local spots that served great food and was never one to settle when it came to a memorable meal.
Above all, Dan was a husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend whose life was woven into the lives of those who loved him. He leaves behind his wife of more than 30 years, Jennifer Weeks, and their three children: Taylor Weeks Staley (Joseph), Cooper Addison Weeks, and Olivia Quinn Weeks.
He is also survived by his sister, Sandy Weeks Honeycutt (Bill), and his brother, David Weeks (Joy), along with many beloved nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.
Dan will be remembered for his love of cars and trucks, his passion for his many interests, his appreciation for good food, and the memories he created with family and friends. His absence leaves a space that cannot be filled, but his life and the stories shared by those who knew and loved him will remain.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by those who loved him.
Family and friends are invited to gather in the J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., West Ashley Chapel on Sunday, November 1, 2026, from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm.
