Daniel Graham Osterkamp

Daniel Graham Osterkamp, 20, of Mt. Pleasant, SC, passed away on Saturday, September 3, 2011.  Daniel's relatives and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of His Life in East Cooper Baptist Church on Thursday, September 8, 2011 at 11:00 am.  Burial will be private.  The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 7, 2011 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral chapel.  ARRANGEMENTS BY J. MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL.  Daniel was born September 11, 1990 in Charleston, SC, son of Cindy Lee Smith Osterkamp and Hubert Alexander "Lex" Osterkamp, Jr.  A student at The University of South Carolina, Daniel was majoring in classical guitar.  He attended East Cooper Baptist Church, and had a great love of music and song writing. He is survived by his parents, Cindy and Lex Osterkamp of Mt. Pleasant, SC; his brother, Brian Alexander Osterkamp of Mt. Pleasant, SC; his sister, Ashley Elizabeth Osterkamp of Moncks Corner, SC; and his maternal grandfather, Donald Allan Smith of Forest, VA.  Daniel is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins.  The family requests that memorials may be made in Daniel's memory to the East Cooper Baptist Church (Music Program or Youth Ministry), 361 Egypt Road, Mt.
