Daniel Bernard Mcelroy

Daniel Bernard McElroy, 58, of Clinton, MI, entered into eternal rest on Friday, September 9, 2011. Private funeral services and burial will be conducted by J. HENRY STUHR MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL. 

Daniel was born on September 8, 1953 in Detroit, MI, son of Lois Mary (Arnn) McElroy and the late Frank Eli McElroy.  He was employed as a Pathology Technician at The Veterans Administration in Ann Arbor, MI.  He was a US Army Veteran and member of the Hannan-Colvin Post #180 American Legion, Hudson, MI. 

He is survived by his mother of Allendale, MI; three sisters, Mary Lynn Remijan and her husband William of Caseville, MI, Marianne McElroy of Mt. Pleasant, SC, and Maureen McElroy of Coopersville, MI; two brothers, Stephen McElroy and his wife Karin of Hillsdale, MI,  Michael McElroy and his wife Tracy of Kalamazoo, MI; a step-daughter, Dawn South and her husband Rob of Lansing, MI;  former spouse, Margaret McElroy; a sister-in-law, Patty LaBella, of Milan, MI; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great-nephews, and three step-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his brother, Francis (Buz) McElroy.

The family requests that memorials may be made to The Hannan-Colvin Post #180 American Legion, 16113 Cadmus Rd, Hudson, MI 49247.
