Dana Elizabeth Wells, 82, of Wayzata, Minnesota, residing in Charleston, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Saturday, June 17, 2023. Her Memorial Service will be held Friday, June 30, 2023 in J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Downtown Chapel, 232 Calhoun Street at 5:00 p.m. where the service may be viewed via live-stream at https://youtube.com/live/ViHhSvB0060?feature=share.  The family will receive friends in the Downtown Chapel following the service.

Dana was born January 28, 1941 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, daughter of the late Maurice McCaffrey and Elizabeth Downing McCaffrey. She received her associate in arts degree from Briar College and the University of Minnesota. Dana was a member of the Alpha Phi Sorority while at the University of Minnesota in 1961 and was a member of the Junior League in 1964. She was a member of the National Realtors Association for 35 years and a member of the Executive Sales Associates for 34 years. Dana was an avid golfer, loved to collect and create fine art, loved to create in her garden, and absolutely adored her friends and family. 

She is survived by her three children: Tracy Babatz of Wayzata, MN, Robert Downing Savoie of Costa Rica and Polly Savoie Christy of Charleston, SC; and five grandsons: James Babatz, Thomas "Skye" Christy, Luke Christy, Charles Babatz and Anthony Savoie Zepeda.
