Dan Cecil Taylor, Jr., 74, of Moncks Corner, SC, husband of Karen Lynn Schilling Taylor entered into eternal rest Monday, May 19, 2014. His funeral service will be held, Friday, May 23, 2014 in J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road at 10 am. Interment, Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm in Stuhr's Northwoods Chapel.

Dan was born April 4, 1940 in Lodge, SC, son of the late Dan Cecil Taylor Sr. and the late Ruby Nell Peters Taylor. He was a retired salesperson with PYA Monarch. He enjoyed fishing, gardening, barbecuing,woodworking and the little league baseball world series.

He is survived by his wife, Karen Lynn Taylor of Moncks Corner, SC; daughters, Tracy Daniel (Mike) of Moncks Corner, SC and Rhonda Vetzel (Mark) of Greenville, SC; sons: Danny Taylor (Tammie) of Summerville, SC, Ashley Taylor (Ashley) and Brandon Slagle all of Moncks Corner, SC; sister, Gloria Kinsey (Horace) of Hollywood, SC; brother, Charles Taylor (Diane) of Meggett, SC; 12 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
