Dan Andrew Myers, 57, of Charleston, South Carolina, husband of Janet McGregor Myers, entered into eternal rest Friday, April 22, 2016. His funeral service will be held Monday, April 25, 2016, in J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., West Ashley Chapel, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway, at 2:00 p.m. The family will receive friends Sunday, April 24, 2016, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in Stuhr's West Ashley Chapel.

Dan was born July 4, 1958 in Pennington County, South Dakota, son of the late Robert Darrel Myers and Betty Baker Myers. He was a carpenter. He graduated from St. Andrew's High School, was an avid football and baseball player, and truly loved NASCAR.

He is survived by his wife, Janet, of Charleston, SC; mother, Betty A. Myers of Columbia, SC; son, Joseph R. Decker of Charleston, SC; daughter, Mollie J. Decker of Philadelphia, PA; and brother, Brett Robert Myers of Summerville, SC.
