.With profound sorrow and gentle remembrance, we announce the passing of Dakota Miles Brewer, who left us much too soon on July 13, 2026, at just nine months old. Born on October 2, 2025, Dakota’s time with us was brief, yet deeply meaningful, leaving an indelible imprint on the hearts and lives of all who knew and cherished him.

Dakota was the beloved child of Evon Zackary Lee Brewer and Hailey Eileen Sherfinski, who survived their dear child with immeasurable love and unending devotion. Although Dakota’s journey was short, he was the center of his parents' world, filling their days with hope, warmth, and the purest kind of joy. Dakota’s presence illuminated the lives of his family, etching precious moments full of tenderness and dreams for the future.

Family and friends are invited to honor and remember Dakota at a memorial service to be held on July 31, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at J Henry Stuhr Northwoods, 2180 Greenridge Road North, Charleston, SC 29406. All who carried Dakota in their thoughts and prayers are invited to join, to mourn and celebrate, to honor a light too bright and fleeting for this world.

Though words can scarcely encompass the depth of loss felt at Dakota’s passing, his memory endures as a symbol of love’s enduring power in the face of heartbreak. May Dakota rest in peace, forever remembered and held close by those who loved him most.
