Daisy Marie Fritts, 74, widow of Otis M. (Sam) Fritts, of Goose Creek, SC died Saturday, May 26, 2012 .
Born September 3, 1937 in Aransas Pass, TX, she was one of four children of the late Willie Mitchell Hudson and Daisy Magaline Spicer Hale. She retired from Gates as a lab technician. She was a member of the American Legion Post 166 Ladies Auxiliary, Goose Creek Rural Volunteer Fire Dept. Auxiliary and was an avid bingo player.
Mrs. Fritts is survived by her son, Dennis Ray Fritts of Goose Creek, SC; three daughters, Sallie Schultz (John) of Summerville, SC, Sherri Fritts of Mountain City, TN and Susan Lovitt of Middleburg, FL; twin brother, Raymond D. Hudson of Dallas, TX; four grandchildren, Holly Matz, April Mora (Marcus), Marshall Matz and Samuel Lovitt. She was preceded in death by a brother, Willie M. Hudson, sister, Syble Mercer and grandson, Joseph Paul Bauknight.
The relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral service in J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road, on Wednesday, May 30, 2012 at 11:00 am. Entombment, Whispering Pines Memorial. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTHWOODS CHAPEL. The family will receive friends in J. Henry Stuhr Northwoods Chapel, Tuesday, May 29, 2012 from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Goose Creek Rural Volunteer Fire Dept., 907 Redbank Road, Goose Creek, SC 29445.
