Daisy Ellis Byers

Entered into eternal rest on the morning of Saturday, April 2, 2011, Daisy Ellis Byers, widow of Luther B. Byers, Jr.  Residence, Charleston, South Carolina.  The relatives and friends of Daisy Ellis Byers are invited to attend her funeral services in Trinity United Methodist Church, Wednesday, April 6, 2011, at 3:00 p.m.  Burial will follow in Carolina Memorial Park.  The family will receive friends at J. HENRY STUHR INC., NORTH AREA CHAPEL on Tuesday, April 5, 2011 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm.

Mrs. Byers was born February 7, 1920 in Griffin, GA, a daughter of Riley Edward Ellis and Clara Maud Greer Ellis.  She was an active life long member of Trinity United Methodist Church. 

She is survived by her three daughters;  Patricia Byers-Wilson and her husband, John of Hanahan, SC, Carol Grace Senato and her husband, James of Shawnee, KS and Eleanor Kathleen Byers of Provo, UT; two sons; Luther B. Byers, III and his wife, Linda of Florence, SC and John Randall Byers of Charleston, SC; a sister, Clovis Nelson of Austin, TX; six grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren.
