Daisy Frances Branch

Frances Sanders Waters Branch, 86, of Charleston, South Carolina, widow of William John "Buck" Waters, entered into eternal rest Sunday, March 16, 2014. Her funeral service will be held Thursday, March 20, 2014 in J. HENRY STUHR, INC. WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway at 2:30 pm where friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the service. Interment, Live Oak Memorial Gardens.

Frances was born July 23, 1927 in Barnwell, South Carolina, daughter of the late Monnie M. Sanders and Daisy Viola Mason Kinard. She received an Associates degree from Rice Business College and was a retired secretary with Southeastern Maritime Company. She attended Charleston Baptist Church and Palmetto Community Church and was a member of Order of the Eastern Star, Betsy Ross Chapter and past Worthy Matron.

She is survived by her son, W. Buckey Waters of Ravenel, SC; two daughters, Helen Waters Maxwell of Summerville, SC, M. Gail Waters of Charleston, SC; ; a brother, Monnie M. Sanders (Betty) of Charleston; SC; nine grandchildren, Tammie Howton, Lauri Lamenca, William Maxwell, Christina Fortner, Matthew Lockaby, Trey Eaddy, W. Buck Waters, Ali Waters, Mandy Livingston; and five great-grandchildren, Crystal Howton, Ryan Lamenca, Christian Fortner, Caitlyn Fortner, and Maliki Eddy. She was predeceased by a great-grandson, Tyler Howton.
