Dainer Renn Dupree, 46, of Johns Island, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Monday, May 4, 2026. His Funeral Service will be held Sunday, May 17, 2026 at the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road at 2:00 pm. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Northwoods Chapel.
Dainer was born December 20, 1979 in Charleston, South Carolina, son of the late Allen Renn Dupree and Sharon Lynn Dupree of Charleston. He was a dedicated and passionate individual whose life was marked by a deep love for family, outdoor adventures, and community engagement. Dainer was a proud business owner who attended Seacoast Church in North Charleston, SC where he built a foundation that carried him through his endeavors. Throughout his life, he embraced a variety of interests that brought joy and fulfillment to those around him. He found great pleasure in activities such as playing golf and bowling, where his competitive spirit and camaraderie shone brightly. His culinary skills were also well known; he delighted in cooking for family and friends, sharing not only meals but moments of warmth and connection. A lover of the natural world, Dainer spent countless cherished hours on the water, enjoying boat trips and fishing excursions. These pursuits allowed him to connect deeply with nature's tranquility and beauty. Additionally, he treasured time spent camping with his family in the mountains, creating lasting memories steeped in the simple joys of the great outdoors.
In addition to his mother, Sharon Lynn Dupree, he is survived by brother, Dustin Allen Dupree of Oregon; children: Samuel Renn Dupree of Charleston, SC, and Layla Valentine Dupree (Carlos Perez-Reyes) of Johns Island, SC; and dog, Lucy.
