Cynthia Sharp Wolfe

Cynthia Sharp Wolfe, 66, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, wife of William (Buddy) D. Wolfe III, entered into eternal rest Thursday, October 19, 2023. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, October 23, 2023 in Christ Our King Catholic Church, 1149 Russell Drive at 10:30 am.  Prayers of Final Commendation and Farewell will follow in  Mount Pleasant Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Sunday, October 22,2023 in the J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Mount Pleasant Chapel from 5:00 until 7:00 pm, when the Rosary will be recited.

Cynthia was born December 8, 1956 in Charleston, South Carolina, daughter of the late David Sharp and Erline Friend Sharp. She was raised from the age of five by her mother and late stepfather, Larry LaVella.  She was a graduate of Bishop England High School and The College of Charleston. She worked as a patient analyst in accounting at University Medical Associates for more than 30 years until her retirement. She was an active member of Christ Our King Catholic Church, where she sang in the choir. Cynthia enjoyed playing her piano and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was loved by all, even her constant lap companions, Benson and Sam.

She is survived by her husband of 41 years; her daughters, Katie Wolfe of Mt. Pleasant, SC and Susan Martinolich (Drew) of Alamogordo, NM; her grandchildren, Jameson Martinolich and Bailey Martinolich; and her sisters, Kathy Dorkewitz (Henry) of Charleston, SC, Sharon Meyer (Herman) also of Charleston, SC, and Mary Ann Benoit (Gerry) of Mt. Pleasant, SC.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her name to the National Kidney Foundation.
