Cynthia Holcomb Silver

Cynthia Holcomb Silver, 67, of Charleston, South Carolina, wife of James Nelson Silver died Thursday, November 15, 2018. Her Funeral Service will be held Saturday, November 17, 2018, in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL, 1494 Mathis Ferry Road at 11:00 am. The family will receive friends Saturday in the Mount Pleasant Chapel from 10:00 am until time of the service.

Cynthia was born in Charleston, South Carolina, daughter of Edwina "Bea" Hutchinson Holcomb and the late Hoyt Franklin "Fritz" Holcomb. She was a retired Assistant VP of Human Resources with BB&T Bank.

She is survived by her husband, Nelson Silver of Charleston, SC; mother, Edwina "Bea" Holcomb of Charleston, SC; daughter, Meghan Ardis(Michael) of Summerville, SC; son, Drew Silver (Tania) of Savannah, GA; two brothers, Fritz Holcomb (Nancy) of Fairfax, VA and David Holcomb (Angela) of Charleston, SC; six grandchildren, Anna Claire Ardis, Hudson Ardis, Saige Silver, Jameson Silver, Trevor Cole and Trenton Cole.
