Cynthia Lou Salvo

Cynthia Lou Salvo, 83, of Johns Island, SC, widow Peter Angelo Salvo, II., entered into eternal rest Wednesday, December 24, 2014. Her Funeral Service will be held Sunday, December 28, 2014 in J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway at 4:00 p.m. The family will receive friends Sunday in Stuhr's from 3:00 p.m. until the time of service. Interment will follow in Holy Spirit Catholic Churchyard.

Cynthia was born July 15, 1931 in Horry County, SC, she was the daughter of the late Luther Strickland and Sally Graham Strickland. She was a retired assistant with Child Day Care Center.

She is survived by her two daughters, Gloria Zelasko of Johns Island, SC, Cindy Wilcox of Hollywood, SC; two sons, Peter A. Salvo, Jr., and Bo Salvo (Melody) both of Johns Island, SC; five grandchildren, Brandy Pratt-Thomas, Kristy Johnson, Joey Salvo, Krystal Salvo and Chelsea Salvo; one great-grandson, Cooper Johnson and niece Judy Strickland Driggers. She is predeceased by two sons, Ralph D. Salvo and Joseph Allen Salvo.
