Cynthia Lee Hagerman
July 17, 1949 — March 23, 2019
Cynthia Lee Hagerman of Goose Creek, SC, passed away peacefully March 23, 2019 due to complications from a stroke. She was born July 17, 1949 in Fayetteville, NC to Elma and Hugh Lee.
A devoted and loving Christian mother, Cindy worked many years at the Charleston Naval Shipyard and Bullwinkle Reality. Always a good student, she returned to college in 1987, earning a B.S. in Psychology from the University of South Carolina. Upon graduation, she studied for two years at the Baptist Theological Seminary in Dallas-Fort Worth where she wrote many beautiful sermons praising Jesus, her Lord and Savior.
Cindy returned to Charleston and worked briefly in the Administration Department of Northwood Baptist Church before retiring.
Her life was a living example of one of her favorite Bible verses, Ephesians 4:32 - "Be ye kind one to another, tender-hearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you."
Cindy is survived by her beloved daughter Susan Catherine Hagerman. She was a member of the Goose Creek United Methodist Church. A funeral service was held March 28 at the Stuhrs Funeral Chapel.
