Cynthia Ann Cornwell, 78, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, wife of John G. Stanley, entered into eternal rest Sunday, March 26, 2023. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Mount Pleasant Chapel.
Cynthia was born August 14, 1944, in New York, daughter of the late Donald B. Williams and the late Julia T. Williams. Cynthia was an active bridge and croquet player. She enjoyed singing and playing the piano. She spent a lot of her free time crafting with beads, painting and crocheting.
In addition to her husband, John, she is survived by her stepsons, Kevin Cornwell (Tracy) of Orchid, FL; Craig Cornwell (Sandra Hough) of Lexington, KY; five step grandchildren, Graham Cornwell (Judy), Wesley Hauck (Peter), Lindsay Hauxhurst (Chris), Chandler Cornwell, and Kendall Cornwell; and five step great grandchildren.
