Entered into eternal rest on the morning of July 15, 2012, Reverend Cynthia Calhoun of Charleston, SC. The relatives and friends of Cynthia Calhoun are invited to attend her graveside services Wednesday, July 18, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. in Live Oak Memorial Gardens. Arrangements by J. Born October 30, 1946 in Charleston, SC, Cynthia was the daughter of Peter Umrysh and Katherine Elsey Umrysh. Cynthia was a Licensed Practical Nurse and an employee for CVS Pharmacy. She was an ordained minister, provided online counseling for many years across the country, and was a former member of Charleston Baptist Church.

Surviving are her sons, Ashley Calhoun and his wife Cara of Mount Pleasant, SC, and Ryan Calhoun of Charleston, SC; her mother, Katherine Elsey Umrysh of Charleston, SC; a brother, Preston Umrysh of Greer, SC; and two grandchildren, Kristina and Taylor Calhoun.
