Curtis Bartholomew Horne, 57, of Athens, Georgia, formerly of Charleston, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Tuesday, July 23, 2013. His Memorial Service will be held in Saint James Church, 1872 Camp Road, on Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. Interment will be private at a later date.
Curtis was born February 27, 1956 in Charleston, South Carolina, the son of Benjamin Shinn Horne, Jr. and Jane Brown Horne. He attended the University of Georgia and was an Artist.
In addition to his parents, Curtis is survived by his sister, Nancy Godwin (John) of Vinning, GA; brothers; Benjamin S. Horne III, MD (Mary) of Greenville, SC; Arthur L. Horne (Wanda), Brian F. Horne (Betsy), all of Charleston, SC; an uncle, William A. Brown (Bessie) of Charleston, SC; ten nieces and nephews and six grand nieces and nephews.
