Curtis R. Fennell Sr., 83, of Goose Creek, South Carolina, widower of Linda Eilenne Fennell entered into eternal rest Sunday, December 13, 2020. His Funeral Service will be held Friday, December 18, 2020 in the J. Henry Stuhr, Inc.West Ashley Chapel, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway at 11:00 am. Interment in Live Oak Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Friday in the West Ashley Chapel from 10:00 am until the time of service.

Curtis was born October 30, 1937 in Fairfax, South Carolina, a son of the late Parlor Fennell and Hazel Myrick Fennell. He served in the Army National Guard and was a retired Master Truck Driver with Overnight Transportation Company, having driven over 4 million miles without an accident and 40 years of service. He was an avid hunter and a long-time member of the Calf Pen Hunt Club.
He is survived by his two sons: Ken Douglas Fennell and Curtis R. Fennell II; his daughter, Linda Gail Jackson; two sisters: Rosemary Wolff and Sandra Hood; brother, Danny Thomas; his grand-daughter Cheyenne Eileen Jackson; and son-in-law, William Jackson.
Curtis was preceded in death by his brothers: Bobby Joe Fennell and Ricky Thomas; and his sister, Betty Sue Thomas.
