Curtice E. Holland, Jr., USA (Ret.)

November 24, 1946 — February 17, 2012

Entered into eternal rest on the evening of February 17, 2012. Colonel Curtice E. Holland, Jr., USA (Ret.) of Charleston, SC, husband of Marilyn Champion Holland. The family will receive friends in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., DOWNTOWN CHAPEL Sunday February 19 between 5pm and 7pm. Funeral Services and burial will be conducted later in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, San Antonio, TX. A Service of Celebration to be held in Summerall Chapel, The Citadel will be announced later.

Curt was born November 24, 1946 in Oklahoma City, OK, the son of Curtice Edgar Holland and Earnestine Boudreaux Holland. He earned his undergraduate degree and MBA from the University of Oklahoma. He retired from the US Army after 28 years of service and served The Citadel as Vice President of Finance and Business Affairs. After his retirement from The Citadel he was the CFO and Director of The Logistics Company, Fayetteville, NC.

He is survived by his wife of 44 years of Charleston, SC; son, John Holland and his wife Charlotte of Round Rock, TX; daughter, Katy H. Cleary and her husband Michael of Irving, TX; grandchildren, Hannah Holland and Matthew Holland; parents, Curtice E. and Earnestine Holland of Yukon, OK; sister, Anita Oden and niece, Virginia Oden of Yukon, OK.
