It is with a heavy heart that we share the news that Craig Dennis Sohns, 60, of Goose Creek, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Friday, December 15, 2023. His Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, December 19, 2023, in the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road at 11:00 am.  Interment will follow in Whispering Pines Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 10:00 am to 11:00 am in J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Northwoods Chapel.  

Craig was born July 27, 1963, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, son of Vivian Geneva Knowlton and the late Dennis Ralph Sohns.  Craig recently received news he had cancer. But, as always, we thought he had more time. We are grateful that he spent the last weeks with his mom and she was able to take care of him in his final days. Craig is with God now. He has laid down his burdens and he can spend eternity with those who went before him. We love you Craig, and you will be missed. He enjoyed fishing, working as a carpenter and his precious dog "Sucker".  And he had a true gift as a woodworker.  

In addition to his mother, Vivian he is survived by two siblings: Michael Whetstone (Laura) of Holly Hill, SC and Connie Carter of Moncks Corner, SC; and many loved cousins, nieces, nephews and other family members. He was preceded in death by his father, Dennis Ralph Sohns, stepfather, James Whetstone; and brother, Derek Whetstone.
