It is with a heavy heart that we share the passing of Craig Lewis Chamberlin. Craig left us on August 26, 2026 to join his beloved wife Debby in eternity and will be greatly missed. He was born on February 23, 1949 to Lewis and Eve Chamberlin and spent his childhood traveling the world as a “military brat” where he gained a deep appreciation for the sacrifices of those who serve. Craig was a man of great integrity who took incredible pride in both the work he did and the community he called home. He spent decades leading Marine Federal Credit Union and dedicated this work to the service members of Jacksonville he felt so incredibly proud of.

In 1970, Craig married the love of his life, Debby. Together, they shared 52 years of a wonderful, adventurous marriage, exploring the world and building a beautiful life together. He was preceded in death by Debby in 2023, and his family takes great comfort in knowing that their grand adventure continues together once again.

Craig’s strength and bravery as he faced life challenges were unmatched and his family couldn’t be more proud of him. He will be eternally loved by those he has left behind, his children: Kim (Patrick) and Skip (Jewel), grandchildren: Saane, Kieran, Liz, Hannah, and Lauryn, extended family: Rembert (Sandy), Donald (Selena), and Sybil (Howard) along with an abundance of other family and friends whose lives he will always be a part of.

Craig loved deeply and was fiercely loyal to those in his life. We will be celebrating all that made him special on September 12, 2026 at 2:00 at J. Henry Stuhr Inc. Mount Pleasant Chapel, 1494 Mathis Ferry Road. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Interment following will be in Mt. Pleasant Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers a donation can be made in Craig’s name to the Wounded Warrior Project or a charity of your choosing honoring those in the Armed Services. A memorial message may be sent to the family by visiting www.jhenrystuhr.com.
