CPO Thomas John Seymour, US Navy, Ret., 70, of Summerville, SC, husband of Bonnie Jo Cox Seymour entered into eternal rest Sunday, October 21, 2012. A graveside service with military honors will be held Thursday, October 25, 2012 in the Plantation Memorial Gardens, 3345 South Live Oak Drive at 3:30 pm. The family will receive friends Thursday from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTHWOODS CHAPEL, 2180 Greenridge Road.
He was born March 26, 1942 in Chicago, IL, son of Frank William Seymour and Margaret Heilgeist Seymour. He served 23 years in the United States Navy and retired as a Chief Petty Officer. His second career was with Milcom Systems for 23 years. He belonged to the National Rifle Association and Fleet Reserve Association Branch 269.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Bonnie Jo Seymour; son, Thomas William Seymour and his wife Janet; granddaughters, Megan Louise Seymour and Patti Roe; grandson, Tyler Roe; sister, Kathy Seymour of Hometown, IL; brother, Frank Seymour and his wife Patricia of Marrero, LA; and his aunt, Mary Ann Gustafson of Chicago, IL. He was preceded in death by his parents and his daughter, Bonnie Louise Seymour.
