Corazon Phillips of Goose Creek, SC passed away Saturday, February 11, 2017, after a long life of 83 years and fighting to the end. The Liturgy of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, February 15, 2017, in Divine Redeemer Catholic Church, 1106 Fort Drive, at 10:00 am. Prayers of Final Commendation and Farewell will follow at Carolina Memorial Park. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Northwoods Chapel.

She is survived by her son, Michael and grandchildren: Adam, Jacob and Megan. She was a grandmother, mother and beloved wife. As an Army brat, she survived the occupation of the Philippines during WWII. Becoming an American citizen, she patriotically supported her husband, brother and son as he served during Korea, Vietnam, Cold and Gulf wars. Her life spanned many continents, cultures, wars and she created a loving family that survives her.
