Constance Eileen McBeth Schanck

Constance "Connie" McBeth Schanck, 78 of Pleasant Hills, PA passed peacefully into eternal rest on Monday, March 1, 2021.
Born on September 26th, in Loyalhanna, PA, Connie was preceded in death by her beloved mother, Florence Belsole McBeth.
She is survived by her brother, Art McBeth (Gayle) of Thorofare, NJ; sister and best friend, Catherine Rhad (Edward) formerly of Carrick, PA. She also leaves behind her loving and devoted husband of 60 years, John "Jack" Schanck; son, John, daughters Lisa and Cynthia; cherished grandchildren, Brittany (Dan), Ashley (Jimmy), Adam (Nadia), Michael and Alex; as well as great-grandchildren, Isla, Elias and Lily; and many dearly loved nieces and nephews.
For many years she was a devoted employee of the Sears West Mifflin family, from which she retired. She enjoyed a second career with the PA State Unemployment Office.
Prior to relocating to Mt. Pleasant, SC, Connie was an active member of St. Thomas A' Becket Parish in Pleasant Hills.
A private viewing is being held at J. Henry Stuhr in Mt. Pleasant, SC on Saturday, March 6th at 9:30 am, immediately followed by her service at St. Benedict Catholic Church in Mt. Pleasant at 11:00 am. Interment will be at Mt. Pleasant Memorial Gardens.
A celebration of life will be held in Pittsburgh around her birthday in September.
