Constance Helene Rawls

Constance Helene Rawls, 70, of Charleston, South Carolina, wife of Raymond Allen Rawls, Jr. entered into eternal rest Monday, April 28, 2014. Her Funeral Service will be Friday, May 2, 2014, in J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway at 2:00 pm. The family will receive friends Thursday, May 1, 2014 in Stuhr's West Ashley Chapel from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

Connie was born September 2, 1943 in Charleston, SC, one of two children of the late James Kermit Flowers and Flora Mae Flowers. Connie was formerly employed with Clemson Marine Research Extension. She enjoyed boating and camping with her family and also loved interior designing. Connie had Rhythm and spunk and enjoyed music and life. Connie was a loving Daughter, Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Friend to her Daughters and all who knew her.

She is survived by her spouse of 33 years, Raymond Allen Rawls, Jr.; two daughters, Renee Williams McGill, Jennifer Williams Lasseter and her husband Robert R. Lasseter, Jr., all of James Island, SC; four step-daughters, Patricia Windham of Charleston, SC; Cynthia Rawls of North Charleston, SC, Faye Rawls of James Island, SC, Laura "Robin" Cotton of Fuquay-Varina, NC; sister, Kitty Deter (Bill) of Charlotte, NC; eight grandchildren, one great-grandchild.
