Constance "Connie" Jean Christophel Mabie

Constance "Connie" Jean Christophel Mabie, 90, of North Charleston, South Carolina, widow of Sylvester "Sy" Mabie entered into eternal rest Sunday, December 17, 2017. Her Funeral Service will be held Thursday, December 21, 2017 in the French Huguenot Church, 136 Church Street at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in the French Huguenot Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 20, 2017at the residence of Suzie and Bruce Graham, 5497 Clearview Drive No. Charleston, SC 29420, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL.

Connie was born October 31, 1927 in Battle Creek, Michigan, daughter of the late John Christophel and Verna Cook Christophel. Connie served along with her husband faithfully as a Navy wife for 20 years. She was a loving mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her daughter, Suzanne Graham (Bruce) of North Charleston, SC; son, Sylvester Dave Mabie; brother, Virgil Christophel of Ypsilanti, MI; five grandchildren, Andrea Hobday (David), Kimberly Murray (Brad), Shannon Keller (Kevin), Jeanine Lantz (David), April Volglsang (Jeff), and fifteen great-grandchildren.
