Colie Morse Crosby

Colie Morse Crosby, 63, of Hanahan, South Carolina, husband of Melinda Griffin Crosby unexpectedly entered into eternal rest Saturday, March 1, 2025. His Funeral Service will be held Friday, March 7, 2025 in the Highland Park Baptist Church, 6211 Murray Drive at 12:00 pm. The family will receive friends form 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. Interment will be held at a later date at Riverview Memorial Park. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Northwoods Chapel.

Colie was born May 17, 1961 in Charleston, South Carolina, son of the late William Eugene Crosby and the late Berta Ruth Thompson Crosby. He was born and raised in Park Circle. He attended North Charleston High School and then Anderson College and The Citadel, where he played tennis. He was a lifetime tennis athlete, and enjoyed football and baseball. Colie was a fan of the LA Dodgers and The Citadel. He was a member of Highland Park Baptist Church. 

In addition to his wife, Melinda of 39 years, Colie, also known as "Big C" is survived by children: Colie Morse Crosby, Jr. (Kasey) of Raleigh, NC, Sarah Crosby Nicholson (Jonathan) of Clarksville, TN, and Claire Crosby Kittrell (Clayton) of Moncks Corner, SC; grandchildren: Harper Crosby, Sawyer Crosby, and soon to be Baby Nicholson; siblings: Sarah Howard (Bob) of Hanahan, SC, Ruth Walkup (Mike) of Rockhill, SC, Annie Crosby of Greenville, SC, and Mary Crosby of Hanahan, SC; many loved nieces and nephews; and his in-laws, Wayne Griffin (Karen) Doswell, VA.

Memorials may be made to Highland Park Baptist Church 6211 Murray Drive Hanahan, SC 29410.
