Eugene A. Reeves, USAF retired Chief Master Sergeant, passed away on Monday, July 2, 2018. His Funeral Service will be held with Full Military Honors at the graveside Saturday, July 7, 2018 in Riverview Memorial Park, 3715 Azalea Drive, at 10:00 a.m. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL.

Eugene known by all as "Honest Gene" was survived by his wife Betty, daughter Barbara Young; three sons, Eugene, Jr., Michael and Arnold Reeves. He is also survived by his four grandchildren, Melissa (John), Jennifer, Jarrod (Brittany), Ethan (Lacie) and his beloved four great-grandchildren, Sydney, Landon, Jackson and Josie. He was preceded in death by his parents, Reverend A.B. Reeves and Mrs. Addie Reeves, a sister, Elizabeth and his brother, Douglas.

Gene was retired from the United States Air Force and also retired from Government Civil Service. He spent 47 years of government service and received many distinguished awards. He was a life time member /Master Mason, 32nd degree Scottish Rite and Shriner for more than 50 years. Gene attended church at the Joint Base Charleston Chapel.

He will be missed by all who loved and remembered him.
