Cmdr. Edward Joseph Kasnicki (USN, Ret.), 94, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, husband of the late Florence "Vicky" Green Kasnicki died Thursday, November 30, 2017. His funeral service will be held in Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, VA at a later date. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC. MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL.
Edward was born November 27, 1923 in Wyandotte, Michigan, son of the late John Kasnicki and the late Rosie Mysliweic Kasnicki. He was a 30 year veteran of the United States Navy and served during World War II and Vietnam. He was a long time resident of Vienna, Virginia and was of the Catholic faith.
He is survived by daughter, Carol Yeager (Ronald) of Mt. Pleasant, SC. He was preceded in death by wife, Florence "Vicky" Kasnicki and daughter, Karen J. Teemer.
