Clinton Heywood Jacobs, 79, of North Charleston, SC, widower of Margaret Hardee Jacobs, died Friday, November 7, 2014. His funeral service will be held Tuesday, November 11, 2014, in Northwood Baptist Church, 2200 Greenridge Road, at 2:00 p.m. Interment, Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Monday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTHWOODS CHAPEL, 2180 Greenridge Road.

Heywood was born January 31, 1935 in Loris, South Carolina, son of the late John Clinton Jacobs and the late Cora Jane Faircloth Jacobs. He was a member of Northwood Baptist Church and the owner of Quality Plumbing Company of Charleston, SC for 35 years. Heywood was an avid bass fisherman and a member of the Sea Island and Starlifters Bass Clubs. He was a loving and dedicated father and grandfather. He was a positive influence and role model to family and friends and will be missed dearly.

He is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Jacobs Sanders of Charleston; two sons, Jeff Heywood Jacobs of Charleston and Jerry Alan Jacobs of North Charleston; a special loving friend, Betty Gooding of Hanahan; four grandsons: Chad Sanders and wife, Heather, Jeff Heywood Jacobs, II and wife, Tess, Jonathon Jacobs and wife, Emily and Jerry Alan Jacobs, II and wife, Samantha; a great-grandson, Jackson Robert Jacobs; and a great-granddaughter, Saylor Rose Jacobs. Two loving pets: Bullet, who left us not long ago and Jimbo, who is still hanging out and will miss his "Daddy".
