Cliff Donald Girard

Cliff Donald Girard, 66, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, husband of Deborah L. Girard died Monday, February 18, 2019. A Celebration of His Life will be held on Friday, February 22, 2019 in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL, 1494 Mathis Ferry Road at 4:00 pm. The family will greet friends in the Mount Pleasant Chapel from 3:00 pm until time of the service.

Cliff was born September 13, 1952 in Glen Ridge, New Jersey, son of Lillian Virginia Whitley Girard and the late Donald Leroy Girard. He served in the United States Navy and was stationed at NSGA Hanza Okinowa and held the highest security clearance on the base. He worked as a Computer Analyst for 37 years at various financial institutions and currently was a Report Analyst for Enterprise Reporting Team at South State Bank. He enjoyed playing the guitar, tennis and was an avid surfer.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Deborah L. Girard of Mt. Pleasant, SC; mother, Virginia Girard; daughter, Dawn Gregorie (James); son, Brian Girard; grandson, James Gregorie, Jr.; sister, Dana Girard (Denis); and nephew, Seth Taylor.
