Cleveland "Cleve" Ernest Robertson, Sr., 77, of Charleston, South Carolina, husband of Nancy K. Robertson entered into eternal rest Thursday, July 7, 2022. Family and friends can gather at Stuhr's West Ashley Chapel at 9:00 am on Tuesday, July 12, 2022, with a funeral service held graveside on Tuesday, in Beaufort National Cemetery, 1601 Boundary Street at 12:00 p.m. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. West Ashley Chapel.

Cleve was born October 18, 1944 in Greenville, South Carolina, son of the late Charles Thomas Robertson and Lois Cole Robertson. After graduating High School he served in the U.S. Navy.

Cleve was a wonderful husband, father, PaPa, brother, uncle and friend. He was a good Christian family man who continued to witness, to all, up until his death.  He was also an avid Clemson fan who will truly be missed by all who knew him. 

Cleve is survived by his wife of 24 years, Nancy; three sons: Cleveland Ernest Robertson, Jr. (Connie), Seth Allen Robertson (Destiny) and Douglass Edward Willingham, Jr. (Audry); two daughters: Angela Marie Wrenn (Jordan) and Beverly Dale Johnsen (Brandon G.); nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
