Clementina "Tina" Bunch Jordan, 81, of Charleston, SC, entered into eternal rest at her James Island home Thursday, September 23, 2010, after a difficult battle with ALS. The relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Robert S. Jordan are invited to attend the funeral services of the latter, Saturday, September 25, 2010 at 11:00 am in The Second Presbyterian Church. Interment, Churchyard. Friends may call at J. HENRY STUHR, INC.,DOWNTOWN CHAPEL Friday between 5-7 pm.
Mrs. Jordan was born January 4, 1929 in Charleston, SC, the daughter of Hilton Waring Bunch and Leitha Mixon Bunch. She was a graduate of Berkeley High School. Tina was a long-time employee of Braswell Services Group, Inc., where she retired as an Administrative Assistant.
Tina was an active member of Second Presbyterian Church and was the Sunday School Secretary/Treasurer for many years. She was a member of the Presbyterian Women, served as Circle Chairman and was the recipient of the Presbyterian Women's Life Membership Award in 2004. Tina was a fun-loving individual who loved to dance, play cards and who truly enjoyed her many friends. She was a charter member of the BPO DOES #231.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Robert Seigler Jordan, one sister, Lois Bunch Kinsey of Manning, SC, one son Robert Waring Jordan (Roseann) of Charleston, SC, one daughter, Tina Marie McCarthy (Dan) of Aiken, SC. Three grandchildren: Robert Waring Jordan, Jr. of Charleston, SC, Caroline Jordan Bradley (Michael) of Charleston, SC and Daniel Robert McCarthy, IV of Aiken, SC. She was predeceased by one son, Bradley Seigler Jordan.
