Maj. Clayford A. Bounds, USAF (Ret.), 83, of Edisto Island, South Carolina, husband of Patricia Ray Bounds entered into eternal rest Tuesday, January 10, 2017. His Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, January 17, 2017 in Trinity Episcopal Church, 1589 Highway 174 at 11:00 a.m. Interment with Full Military Honors will follow in Trinity Episcopal Churchyard. Clay was born July 10, 1933 in Picayune, Mississippi, son of the late Oscar Andrew Bounds and Lorena Mitchell Bounds. He was a Pilot and Navigator in the USAF flew B52's and a Vietnam Veteran. Clay was retired from Bounds Builders. He was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church

He is survived by his wife, Patricia A. Bounds of Edisto Island, SC; Son, Joseph Andrew Bounds (Lucinda) of Picayune, MS; two daughters, Melody Prisock (Bill) of Ridgeland, MS, Renee Cole (Artie) of Pineville, LA; two sisters, Margaret Stewart, Sue Page both of Picayune, MS; seven grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
