Claudia Ann Stearns Anderson, 67, of Goose Creek, SC, wife of Benjamin Earl Anderson, Sr., entered into eternal rest Friday, November 2, 2012. A memorial service will be held Monday, November 5, 2012 in Goose Creek United Methodist Church at 11:00 am. The family will receive friends Sunday, November 4, 2012, from 6:00 to 8:00 pm in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTHWOODS CHAPEL, 2180 Greenridge Road, North Charleston, SC 29406.

Mrs. Anderson was born November 22, 1944 in Gloversville, New York, one of eight children of the late Lewis A. Stearns, Jr. and the late Sarah Mussey Stearns. She was a former seamstress and a member of Goose Creek United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Benjamin Earl Anderson Sr.; son, Benjamin Jr.; daughters, Samantha Boedeker, and Georgiana Rostocil; five siblings, David Stearns, Olive Hart, Nancy Putman, Candice Seeley, and Elaine Nolan; and 14 grandchildren. Her son, Calvin, preceded her in death.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Goose Creek United Methodist Church, 142 Redbank Road, Goose Creek, SC 29445.
