Clarice Childers Pearson

Clarice Childers Pearson, 95, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Thursday, August 22, 2024. Her cryptside service will be held Tuesday, September 3, 2024 in the Forest Lawn Cemetery, 765 E. Main St., Laurens, SC 29360 at 1:00 pm. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Mount Pleasant Chapel.

Clarice was born May 10, 1929 in York, South Carolina, daughter of the late Miles Childers and the late Emma White Childers. She had a garden greenhouse where she grew orchids that she made into corsages for the Junior and Senior Proms. Clarice enjoyed reading, cooking for her family, and was a member of the United Methodist Church on Isle of Palms.

She is survived by three children, Stan Pearson (Pam) of Mt. Pleasant, SC, Ronald Pearson (Laurie) of Mooresville, NC, Frank Pearson (Sally) of Manning, SC; eight grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis P. Pearson, son, L. Wayne Pearson, and four siblings.
