Clarence Eugene Goss, Jr., 81, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, husband of Susie Allen Jones Goss died Friday, September 15, 2017. His Memorial Service will be held Saturday, September 23, 2017 in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL, 1494 Mathis Ferry Road at 3:00 pm where the family will receive friends 30 minutes prior to the service.

Clarence was born August 5, 1936 in Canton, Georgia, son of the late Clarence Eugene Goss and the late Thelma Lewis Goss. He served in the United States Air Force, was a Vice President at Boral Brick Company, and enjoyed family and fly fishing.

He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Susie J. Goss of Mt. Pleasant, SC; sons, Clayton Goss (Andrea Williams) of Sumter, SC and Allen Goss (Terre) of Mt. Pleasant, SC; sister, Julie Goss Baldwin (Cecil) of Macon, GA; brother-in-law, Charles Hughes of Fulton, MO; five grandchildren, Parker Goss, Liza Goss, Ben Goss, Sam Goss and Maddie Goss. He was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Goss Hughes and a son, Parker Goss.
