Clarence F. Eckart

Entered into eternal rest on the morning of February 24, 2011, Clarence F. Eckart, husband of Jane Simler Eckart.  Residence, Charleston, SC.  The relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence F. Eckart are invited to attend the funeral services of the former in St. Matthew's Lutheran Church, Sunday, February 27, 2011 at 2:00 pm.

Mr. Eckart was born September 29, 1916 in Cleveland, Ohio, the son of Louis O. Eckart and Anna Niess Eckart.  He served in the United States Army during World War II and retired as Maintenance Supervisor with Canteen Corporation in Cleveland, Ohio. He was a member of St. Matthew's Lutheran Church.

He is survived by his wife of Charleston, SC; one son: Robert G. Eckart (Georgia) of Columbia, SC.
