Clarence "Bryan" Woods Martin, III

Clarence "Bryan" Woods Martin III, 61, of Mt. Pleasant , South Carolina, passed away Sunday, September 3, 2017. His Funeral Service will be held Saturday, September 16, 2017 in Grace Church Cathedral, 98 Wentworth Street at 11:00 am. Inurnment will follow in the Grace Church Cathedral Columbarium. A reception will follow in Hanahan Hall. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC. MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL.

Bryan was born November 27, 1955 in Charleston, South Carolina, son of Clarence Woods Martin Jr. and Hermine Wehman Martin. He attended Erskine College and College of Charleston and was a member of Kappa Alpha Fraternity. He was also a member of Grace Church Cathedral and retired as a Benefits Specialist with Fedex. Bryan was an avid gardener throughout his life and also enjoyed painting in his retirement.

He is survived by his mother, Hermine "Bunny" Martin of Mount Pleasant, SC; father, Clarence Woods Martin, Jr. of Luray, VA; three sisters, Hermine Martin Deneal (Arthur) of Columbia, SC, Julia Martin Taylor of Spartanburg, SC, and Helen Martin of Mt. Pleasant, SC; two nieces, Stacey Deneal Gilchrist, Catherine Leiding Taylor; two nephews, John Clarkson Olbrych and Henry L Taylor, IV; two grandnephews, William Gilchrist and Landon Gilchrist.
