Claire Weeks Knight , 92, of Charleston, South Carolina, widow of Lt. Cmdr Eugene H. Knight, Jr., entered into eternal rest Wednesday, April 4, 2018. The family will receive friends Saturday, April 7, 2018 in J. HENRY STUHR INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Her Funeral Service will be held at Sea, at a later date.
Claire was born October 16, 1925 in Charleston, South Carolina, daughter of the late Ella O'Brien Weeks Kingdom and step-father, Harry W. Kingdom.

She is survived by her two daughters, Claire Garbade (Arnold) of Montgomery Village, MD, Bonnie Glover (Frank) of Simpsonville, SC; son, Eugene H. Knight III (Linda) of Summerville, SC; four grandchildren, William E. Knight (Elaine), Rebecca Meree (CT), Charles Glover, Catherine Burroughs (Gordon), and five great-grandchildren.
