Clair LeRoy Conkey, 87, of North Charleston, South Carolina, husband of Myrna Lee Graham Cotton, entered into eternal rest Saturday, July 6, 2024. His Funeral Service will be held Saturday, July 13, 2024, at the Deep River Church of God, 8190 Dorchester Road at noon. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Northwoods Chapel.

Clair was born March 2, 1937, in Hornell, New York, son of the late George Alexander Conkey and the late Juanita Jenette Gould Conkey. He was a member of Deep River Church of God, where he was a Trustee, Clair was also an Ordained Minister, accomplished guitarist, and very involved with church. He was a traditional, country and gospel music lover.

He is survived by children, Larry Conkey, John Keyser, Clair Keyser, Gina Marie Keyser, Michael Conkey, and Kristin Joanna Glasow; and many loved grandchildren and great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by daughter, Colleen Williams; brother, George Conkey, brother, Arthur Conkey and stepfather, Alton Franklin Hallett.
