Chrystal Owena Marchman

Chrystal Owena Marchman, 90, beloved mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away Tuesday morning, March 1, 2011.  Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral services on Saturday, March 5, 2011 at 3:30 p.m. at J. HENRY STUHR, INC. WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL.  Burial will follow in Live Oak Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends Friday evening at Stuhr's West Ashley Chapel from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. 

 Ms. Marchman was born on April 7, 1920 in Billingsley, Alabama to William Andrew Patrick and Mary Geneva Barbour Patrick.  She moved to Charleston, South Carolina with her husband in 1973, worked at the S&S Cafeteria until her retirement in 2006, and was a member of Ashley River Baptist Church. 

Ms. Marchman was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Robert A. Marchman; three brothers Norman Patrick, Horace Patrick and Carl Patrick; and one sister Hilda Gumbinner.  She is survived by her daughter, Clarice Marchman-Jones, son-in-law, Lou Jones and grandsons Harper Marchman-Jones and Dylan Marchman-Jones, all of Charleston; two sisters, Marie Nicholson of Macon, GA, and Irene Norman of Winstead, MN; two brothers, Morace Patrick and his wife, Margie, of Prattville, AL, and William A. Patrick and his wife, Betty, of Ft. Payne, AL; sister-in-law, Mae Patrick of Mantachie, MS and brother-in-law Larry Gumbinner of Rome, ME.
