Christopher Ray McAlister, 27, of Ladson, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Friday, December 23, 2016. Services will be private. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC. NORTHWOODS CHAPEL.
Chris was born June 22, 1989 in Blytheville, Arkansas, son of Malcolm McAlister and Mi Sil Lee. He graduated Fort Dorchester High School in 2007, attended Trident Technical College and later transferred to Spartanburg Community College where he graduated in 2014. Chris enjoyed spending time with friends and family, baseball, football, dad's cooking, and fishing.
He is survived by his father, Malcolm McAlister of North Charleston and mother, Mi Sil Lee of Ladson; two sisters, Jamie Buchan (Daniel) of North Charleston, and Hanna Lee of Ladson; two nephews, Mason and Liam Buchan of North Charleston; aunts and uncles and his girlfriend, Valerie Wiley of Charleston.
"You will be missed dearly but never forgotten."
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Christopher's name to 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
