Christopher "Pappy" Kemon Ayers, 59, of Conway, South Carolina, husband of Deborah Lynn McClellan Ayers entered into eternal rest Thursday, September 12, 2024. His Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, September 17, 2024 in the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., Northwoods Chapel, 2180 Greenridge Road at 12:00 pm. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Northwoods Chapel.

Chris was born July 30, 1965 in Evansville, Indiana, son of Connie Sue Jennings Ayers of New Albany, IN and the late Jim Ayers. He loved live music and NASCAR. He had a passion for gardening, flowers and horticulture. Chris enjoyed just being outside and hanging with his dog Lexi. He was a history buff who always had a background story on any topic.

In addition to his wife Deborah of 34 years and mother, he is survived by his children: Nikki Estridge of Conway, SC, Jessi Kendall of Columbia,SC, Chase McClellan (Amanda) of Orangeburg, SC, Sam Waters (Dillon) of Columbia, SC, Ariel Fowler (Justin) of Conway, SC, Chance Estridge, Alex Estridge and Jazzi Estridge all of Conway; grandchildren: JJ, JD, Vanna, Millie, Aaron and Phoenix; siblings: Jeff Ayers of Evansville, IN and Matt Ayers (Jenny) of Louisville, KY; and his dog Lexi Ann.
